Thank You for visiting Miracle Heart Cockers. We are a small Hobby Breeder located in the beautiful town of Deer Lodge,
Montana. The First Cocker Spaniel I ever owned was a Black Cocker named Cody, he I had as a teenager. It was after
having him that I realized this was the breed for me and I never wanted to be without a Cocker Again. My other half, Rich,
also grew up with a Black/white Cocker Mix named Spot who lived to be 18 years old. So he shares the same love for the
breed as I. After an extended break from School I have now just finished my first semester in college as a Veternarian Tech.
In 2006, we purchased our first Parti-Color girl who captured our hearts the moment we saw her. One look into those eyes
and we knew we were taking her home. Tory went on to be the first dog in 20 years to get a perfect score in obedience at
our training club. She was a mere 8 months old. It was then, we decided to devote our lives to bettering the breed health
and temperament. We had our first litter of pups with her in Feb 2009. Quite the experience it was indeed but a great
learning curve. We continue to look forward to learning more in the future.
We are commited to getting any necessary health
testing done in order to highly decrease the chance
of genetic defects in any puppies we produce. We
do OFA and CERF testing on all of our dogs prior
to them entering the breeding program. We offer a 2
year health guarantee for any puppy leaving our home.
Our dogs are not a business but rather valued members
of out family. They do not live in Cages or pens but rather
with us inside our home on our couches and beds. We
believe in breeding females no more than once a year as
their body needs the break after every heat cycle and we
want them to enjoy life without being pregnant all the time.
We believe in Quality not Quantity when it comes to
breeding.
I want to Thank my mom and dad for their willingness &
patience to go through all the ups/downs of my life.
They never complained about listening to my "dog stories"
and my mom was always willing to go on road trips with me.
